Chris Jericho tells Vince McMahon its war
With AEW’s debut show Double or Nothing going down next Saturday, the competition is finally beginning to heat up after AEW’s inception on New Year’s Day.
Ryan Satin shared an exert of an interview Chris Jericho recently conducted with TV Insider where the legendary grappler asserted “This is war. Even if you don’t want it to be, it just is.”
Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon’s roles behind the scenes
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Shane McMahon frequently pitches ideas for himself but they rarely get used.
They also note that Stephanie McMahon has nothing to dow ith creative right now in the company. She certainly used to hold a prominent role in that department.
Alexa Bliss replaced at Money in the Bank with Nikki Cross
Alexa Bliss has been suffering with a concussion according to PW Insider and that is why the WWE have decided not to risk her in a ladder match.
The whole angle with Nikki Cross was done on Monday because the company thought they may have to withdraw Bliss and Cross will be her replacement.
Update on Ric Flair
The Nature Boy was rushed to hospital yesterday and TMZ initially reported that his condition was ‘very serious’.
Flair’s wife, Wendy Barlow, issued this statement on the situation: “Due to ongoing health complications, Ric was taken to the hospital and is expected to undergo a procedure tomorrow morning, after which he expects to fully recovery.”
